Tommy's at Britmums Live

I cannot believe that its BLE already (Britmums Live Eve) and in exactly 12 hours I will be on the train to London! I am so excited about it this year, as I have lots I want to accomplish, and loads of people to catch up with!

What I want you to know, is if you are going to Britmums Live the very lovely Vicky and Dawn will be there in their pink sashes, you can't miss them. Tommy's are an amazing charity and to regular readers need little introduction. Tommy's work to reduce stillbirth, miscarriage and prematurity through research and targetted pregnancy advice and literature. I am impressed with Tommy's approach, and am very enthusiastic about what they do.

Tommy's want to increase their blogger outreach, and get to know some other fab bloggers who would like to work with them, so please, make yourself known to Vicky and Dawn, or to me and I'll introduce you! Tommy's have some really defined strategies for working with bloggers, and I've found working with them to be an absolute pleasure, so do go and make yourself known. Also pop by the Give As You Live stand, grab a cupcake and learn how you can easily use this to donate to charity.

On Saturday I will be speaking at the Blogging for the Greater Good panel discussion which I am very excited about. I was excited about attending this discussion, but to be speaking is such a huge honour.

Blogging for charity has been an amazing experience for me, my close relationship with Tommy's but also the other things I have been involved in like #dosomethingyummy for CLICSargent.

One of the most amazing experiences I had was in May, taking part in #borntoosoon, the global report into preterm birth. I "attended" a UN press conference over the phone, blogged for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and found myself retweeted by the World Health Organisation. I really saw first hand the power of social media to get messages out and make a difference.

I hope everyone who is going has a fantastic time, and don't be nervous, there are loads of friendly people ready to be your mate, and show you a good time, in the nicest possible way!

I am also looking forward to the expat dinner on Friday night, and having a good chinwag and a few drinks!

See you all when I get back, I will try to blog on my new tablet, but we'll see how I get on with it!
